Skin Backup/Restore does not seem to do anything

I'm running 1.1.5 on two machines under coreELEC 19.4. I wanted to replicate my skin settings on the 2nd machine based on a backup made on the 1st. I used the backup built into the skin settings which promptly created a zip file in script.skin.helper.skinbackup around 360kb. Restoring this in the 2nd machine (all the same versions) said it was successful but nothing happened. I rebooted to be sure but the skin never changed.

Just in case it matters, the source machine is an Odroid N2+ and the destination machine is an Odroid C4.

Can someone advise if I'm following the correct process or allude to a better way to get the auramod skin from one machine to another?

You should try Open Wizard it has a really great back up and restore feature I use it all the time when I need to transfer my build to another device

Thanks for the tip. I manually copied the following with the Kodi service stopped and it worked fine. Be nice if the inbuilt service worked though.

    userdata > guisettings.xml

    userdata > addon_data > auraMOD

    userdata > addon_data> skin helper shortcuts
