The ability to have multiple troop trees within factions. If we could create a system where each faction could have multiple troop trees that can be tied to specific lords, it would allow us to give lords their relevant troops. For example, having Anakin belong to the Galactic Republic, and being able to recruit 501st Legion troops from all fiefs with the Galactic Republic culture. This system could also be applied to other factions, like the Geonosians being able to recruit Geonosis B1 Battle Droids and different Mandalorian clans being able to recruit their related troops. Ultimately, it would be great to have a system where the player can interact with an NPC belonging to the factions with multiple trees and choose from a list of troop trees used by the faction's lords as their recruit-able troops.
Possible Solutions:
Create a system of sub-cultures within a faction that would each have their own troop trees. The main issues with this solution would be loyalty loss in fiefs due to a culture difference, as well as somehow tying these sub-cultures to the main faction they belong to.
Adding another flag to the equipment XML that would allow for the troop tree to be tied to a lord or multiple lords, rather than just tying it to a culture. This may be more difficult to figure out, but could add much more customization to the system and would make it easier for the player to be assigned this troop tree.
