Describe the bug

Background of login + registration site cuts off the image's RHS when resized

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

logout if logged in
go to login/registration page on a computer
resize the tab horizontally
notice how items stay centered but bg doesnt

Expected behavior

bg should stay centered + cutoff both LHS + RHS

Desktop (please complete the following information):

OS: Windows
Browser: Firefox
Version: 109.0 (64-bit)
