This required hijacking WorldBorder's markerset in minecraft/plugins/dynmap/markers.yml
. I set the border color to #b4fdff
, the same cyan used in the world border texture from Minecraft's default resource pack, and set it to 50%. It looks quite lovely, especially compared to the jarring red of yore.

The current world border is red, because https://github.com/PryPurity/WorldBorder only supports red. But there's no reason we can't use a custom map border instead, once #197 is completed. We could even go further, and create a region that is filled with black, to mask any terrain generated outside the world border.
