I can't get it do ctrl + windows key + d or any three letter keyboard shortcuts. I tried but it dosen't do anything at all

Try to add the following line to your scripts. DEFAULTCHARDELAY 10 This line tells the malduino to press the keys longer

Do you use Elite or Lite Malduino ?
