I've finished translating Cluster Generation Manager, but I'd like to check how the text appears on the buttons and menus, and maybe edit something. I would like to provide a translation for your other mod "Trash Cans", but there is no template for the translation. I have a txt file with the translation, can I post it here, or should I open a new issue for this?

rerolling starmap is a base game feature, it only appears if you enable the mod in base game (with dlc disabled), it toggles if seed changing also rerolls the base game starmap

I can not figure out how to fit the text in such a small area, in English it all goes there, but in Russian it does not, and some words can not be translated differently, for example starmap is a звёздная карта.
And the whole phrase "rerolling Starmap:" is difficult to translate at all, because the word "rerolling" is not translated as meant in this situation, and to keep the meaning I have to put another word. The whole string as a whole without shortening looks like this:"случайная звёздная карта:". The most I can do is shorten the second word and it would look like this: "случайная зв. карта:" which may not make sense to everyone, but the option has a tooltip that explains what the option does. "rerolling Traits:" was also a bit of a translation problem and originally looked like "случайные характеристики:", but I shortened it to: "случайные хар-ки:" since there is also a tooltip explaining what this feature does.
I'll see what else I can do here.

In Russian it will simply not be clear what this string is about, for this reason the function has to be described in more detail, not everyone has played ONI for a thousand hours:). "обновить звезды" means "refresh stars"
thats what I meant with "pars pro toto" - use a component of something to describe the whole thing, an example for that in english would be "big iron" for a gun
I'm actually thinking of naming the feature just "star map", and when hovering the user will get a tooltip about the feature. But it's not quite clear that way either, before you hover the mouse over the function.
Here too the text goes beyond the borders of the button, but in the original translation from Klei this is almost every button in the game and I'm used to it.
So I'm already thinking of doing it the way it turns out :)

I don't want to be a nazole, but do you remember the other issues? (Drywall Colours, Mineralizer Reborn) I posted translations there, and the issues are still open. I fully understand that you may have your own business and plans, so I'm just wondering.

FYI; I'm currently partially reworking how the starmap pois are built in the dlc since I want to fix seed compatiblility there (the starmap in spaced out with CGM is not seed compatible and thats not gud). this will add a few strings, I'll send you a version as soon as I'm finished

I play ONI less often now because I have problems with the game's performance. A pure game without mods began to periodically freeze and sometimes cause a strange bug in the OS, usage of RAM reaches 15GB begins to increase the size of the swap file and then all applications freeze or crash, giving an error about the lack of memory, while I have 32GB. I wrote a post on the game developers bug tracker. Maybe I have something wrong with the OS. If I start processing ore, the first pack of 99 processed normally, but the second pack of 99 processed with the wildest lags. Other games (not only on unity) work fine. These freezes ruined the mood and discouraged me from playing ONI. Sorry for the off-topic. I'll do the translation.

"Restart Light" is a feature I started working on, its not released yet (and the tooltip is likely going to change): I plan for it to allow you to reopen the starting selection screen from the printing pod during the first cycle, allowing you to reselect your starters. This feature is intended for when people share their savegames with others, so those people can make their own start duplicant selection while keeping the worldgen.
Then I should wait for you to finish this feature, but I can share the current translation.
