That code wasn't implimented when we started work, I'm consulting with my team in regards to this, once we've reached a decision we'll let you know.
Wow, when did you start working on this? I was using that feature for a while it seems. I know it was in SSR-1.7.10-Alpha-1.2a and I think it was in the 0.9c or something as well if I remember correctly. Anyways, thanks for looking into this for me. Hope you decide to implement it as it was very useful.
I was the one that did the Alpha 1.2a update, but since then Moze overhauled the mod from the ground up and that's when I started taking over so to speak and it wasn't added to the overhaul
ah...I never used the overhauled version. The Alpha 1.2a one was working just fine in my pack so I didn't see any need to fix what wasn't broken.
I've discussed this with my team, and I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner (Life has been hectic), but sadly we won't be adding this feature as the team (myself included) consider that an exploit since the whole premise of Soul Shards is to add the same soul type to a bound shard.
What I mean to say is that the config for Soul Shards Reborn had an option to allow ANY type of spawner to be consumed to level up your shard faster. This was a great feature as making a villager soul shard can be quite a pain with the randomness of village generation and the fact that there are no naturally occurring villager spawners in the world. Can you please re-add this config option for those of us that wish to utilize it. I was excited to see the old style shard creation back again, but I am really missing this config option.
