@abhiShandy : please share updates on lectures page. The theme we're using is from ... Looks classy and nice. http://www.minuteofsilence.com.au/

Mainly the transition and startup animation, and if possible a 1 minute voice recording of the person.. NOT the video clip on hover - that will kill our servers

In general we will try to copy that menu also.

  1. Why is Sass painful?
  2. You mean I should convert this php file to something like minutesofsilence page, right?
  3. I'll start making it tomorrow, maybe by Friday evening I'll complete it.
  4. Grant me access to this doc.
AbdealiLoKo commented 10 years ago
  1. Sass is painful cuz nobody else is using it, and we can't have half sass half CSS.
  2. Yes
  3. No, that's too late ... it needs to be done faster
  4. Send request, I don't own the doc On Jul 21, 2014 2:01 PM, "Abhishek Shandilya" notifications@github.com wrote:

Cuz you need structure ... It'd be confusing, someone will edit CSS, sass will overwrite and random stuff will happen

but once the css file is compiled...then there is no need of .scss/.sass file...and sass will not automatically update the css file

so, lets say you make changes in the compiled css file. Now abhishek wants to make changes, hell do in the sass file. and she'll generate new css ... so, it'll overwrite all your css.

For the case of lectures.css I'm using Sass. Changes. if required, must be communicated to me.

abhiShandy commented 10 years ago

created a branch: "abhiShandy" added the latest 11 speakers(which may increase later) animation is fine but unable to maintain aspect ratio added name labels need to add some on-hover effect
