This is a really cool project and I'm very intrigued. I briefly looked at it and I have a couple questions.
- Is this already supported in the Linux Kernel, or are there efforts to do so?
- What protocol do these devices typically use?

I know this is extremely niche but Alpakka goes so well with your project that, I think, it would be a delightful tribute for it to have native support and preset in the settings. It would also help to promote it
