"Changing the PI code to 746A you get WMAS, i did some reasearch and all PI code to callsign conversions will give you either a K or W for the first letter. Maybe we can pick something else with that restriction"

From bshep - https://falconchristmas.com/forum/index.php/topic,8996.msg93607.html#msg93607 My best guess on the 'KSLB' is that the zune is back calculating the callsign from RDS_PI code ( seems like it was an practice by older receivers which is now against the standard )

You can check this by going to http://www.w9wi.com/articles/rds.htm and typing in 40a7 and you will get the back calculation result as 'KSLB'

You can change the following line https://github.com/ShadowLight8/Si4713_FM_RDS/blob/3f500ad072c940ad5a0e18107f5ee3711e437c5b/Adafruit_Si4713.py#L325 to use a different hex code and see if it gives you a different results on the zune.

I'm not a radio engineer and i dont know what the right number to put as the PI code is but if you go here http://www.w9wi.com/articles/rdsreverse.htm and type in 'XMAS' as the call sign you get 746A as the PI code, so maybe we should use that as the default until we find out what the right answer is?
