6 years ago Not sure if this is what you meant by, "use shards to upgrade minions so they can harvest and do better work", but I'll toss it here anyways.
When upgrading a minion it would be cool to have multiple upgrade options, such as:
- Lasts longer on X amount of fuel
- Potential to harvest uncommon resource/rare drops
- Maybe add a timer on it so it could work while a player is offline, but only for a specific time, then one of the upgrades could be to increase said timer.
- Efficiency of task done i.e quicker mining/tree chopping
- You could make it so you have to upgrade the minion in order for it to mine certain resources i.e Tier One Minion can only mine Cobble, Iron Ore, and Gravel, so you'd have to level it in order for it to mine your desired resource.

Few different ways we can do Minions, once placed they only last a certain duration, you have to refuel them, they can cover a marked area, etc...they need a chest placed within a radius of them..use shards to upgrade minions so they can harvest and do better work
