hello is there a way to remove the affixes without destroying the item?

No, if you want to nullify most of the effects you can reforge it to common rarity. I don't really think there needs to be a removal mechanism.

If you have a compelling case for why you would want to remove the affixes from an item, an implementation can be explored.
