Fix #382 #390

3 small changes:

ProcessRunner will actually raise an error if exit code is not 0
If verbose option is selected, the debug logs should be included
defaults file generated was including the experimental xbstream configs. They should default to disabled.

Together, these should prevent new users from immediately having issues with xbstream, and make any error encountered in a subprocess more easy to diagnose.

Thanks for PR. How about merging this to #389 release_v2.0 branch? I am going to combine #388 also into this release.
