Decreased speed #199

1. Use any file as input
2. Choose to convert in avi
3. Choose xvid fullscreen
4. Start conversion

The conversion goes ahead but is much more slowly than in old 1.4.2 version.
If I try to use desktop as output directory the program ignore it and the file
goes in the default directory.

I'm using 1.5.0 version on Windows XP service pack 3.

The quality of converted video is similar to the 1.4.2 old version.

it's the xvid 1.3 library, you can go back to previous versions of ffmpeg. It
is necessary for compatibility with newer avi files.
