syntaxhighlighter doesn't work well with Opera 9.5

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In IE7 the highlighted code is displayed correctly, however in Opera 9.5 
the whole page starting from tag <pre name="code" class="csharp"> is 
highlighted. It seems that syntax highlighter doesn't stop code 
highlighting on tag </pre>.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows XP Professional, Opera 9.5, IE7, ASP.NET pages

Using <textarea> instead of <pre> solved this problem.
