Render issue with Wordpress 2.7

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Use of the highlighter in Wordpress 2.7 seems to be broken, you can see

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The gutter is enlarged with the numbers too far across. The controls I 
think are in the correct place.

A test page at <a 
href="http://codeology.lloydkinsella.net/test.html">http://codeology.lloydk
insella.net/test.html</a> works fine.

The latter works fine outside of Wordpress BUT the former as you can see does 
not.
