Once you made multiple simultanious audio devices possible, How about adding
multi channel support for ogg streams or even for other protocols who support
multichannels?

One question ... why? I don't mean to sound facetious. Just wondering if multi
channel (more than 2) is something that people want for a radio stream?

One could think of Dolby surround channels, some classical music stations
broadcast in this format.

Also i would like to use this for transport of a live performance in
mutichannel to another location (broadcasting house) to mix the performance
seperate from the front of house mix for the radio broadcast.
