New Install issues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Uploaded to server
2. logged into 
3. add/remove site
4. Select Site:  LOADING.... (never changes)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Be able to add sites to update content.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0a

Can you try the 1.0.1 alpha please.  That was the bug in the dataccess.php file 
which 
should be corrected.  Also, make sure the data directory is world writeable 
since it 
has to create files in the data directory.
