Hi, the filter HpCF_Sennheiser_HD650__Sample_B was generated from the headphone filters provided in the following compilation: Spherical Far-Field HRIR Compilation of the Neumann KU100
Thank you for the info! For me this filter really activates front back localization that I can't get before with any other 100+ filters around the web, so thinking now on getting more KU100 data on other popular open back headphones. I guess AKG and Beyers in this mdat also has B letter in your HPCF files, right?
I can confirm the below HpCFs were generated from the same dataset. I hope this list helps.
_HpCF_Sennheiser_HD650_Sample_B HpCF_Sennheiser_HD600_Sample_B HpCF_Audio-Technica_ATH_M50_Sample_A HpCF_AKG_K702_Sample_A HpCF_AKG_K701_Sample_B HpCF_AKG_K601_Sample_B HpCF_AKG_K271_MKII_Sample_A HpCF_AKG_K240_MKII_Sample_B HpCF_AKG_K141_MKII_Sample_B HpCF_Beyerdynamic_DT990_Sample_B HpCF_Beyerdynamic_DT880_Sample_B HpCF_Beyerdynamic_DT770_Sample_B HpCF_Beyerdynamic_DT250_Sample_C HpCF_Shure_SRH940_Sample_A HpCF_PresonusHD7
I haven't tested any of the above headphones myself but I have personally found that the averaged HpCFs were often the best match for most of the headphones I tested. However, this wasn't the case for every headphone so it was worthwhile testing each of the individual alternatives.
Hello. Could you point me please what source of measurements you have used to generate EQ for Sennheiser 650_Sample_B?
