Reference update sometimes consumes newline characters #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a hex line with the final hex immediately followed by newline (no space)
2. Final hex must be part of a replaced reference
3. Runn Reference Update tool

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The Reference update replace hex should preserve the newline, but will instead 
overwrite the character immediately following the final hex value with space.
