Issue description

Previous issue (#6236 ) closed without answer or solution (happy new year........) so i am re-opening here.

Sharepoint 2010 workflows had the option to start a workflow to publish a major version of a document.

This workflow could be easily enabled and configured by any site administrator (no need to hire consultants in order to activate a workflow....).

Microsoft have removed this simple workflow but I don't see a replacement for it. what am I missing?

Can you please show me how to enable an equivalent of this workflow now that Microsoft have disabled it?

And/or how to migrate my existing workflows of this kind to Power Automate?

Hi @AlexRademeyer - I believe you're after the check-in file action in Power Automate which supports setting the check in type to Major version. Keep in mind that your file needs to be already checked out for this to work.
