ShareX is a free and open source program that lets you capture or record any area of your screen and share it with a single press of a key. It also allows uploading images, text or other types of files to many supported destinations you can choose from.
I went to install ShareX today, downloaded both 16.0.1 and the dev build.
I started the install for 16.0.1, and everything seemed to proceed normally... until the end, when it asks if I want to open ShareX. When I clicked OK, I recieved a dialog error:
I then installed the dev build on top of 16.0.1, and at the end the same dialog appeared.
I'm not sure how you can reproduce this other than just installing the program.
I'm guessing the installer wasn't run elevated? I don't know if you have some kind of auto-elevation integrated in the installer.
My OS Version:
Windows 10 Pro x64 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4239)
