1 year ago The current state of this example is here, in the examples branch. The hopping between paths is not bad in the new version of the 2diy. It oscillates more in the older version and it is not that smooth. I've observed that oscillations at the beginning of the next path depend on the amount of allowed error before the index goes to the next target point, which has to be greater for the older 2diy.
Rather than moving along a closed path, this example would consist of two skew line segments. Guidance consists of moving along one and then hopping to the other, moving back towards the starting point of the first, and hopping to that point once the end of the second line is reached.
