[x] Modify the existing IMAGE extension to ensure compatibility with desktop Safari by removing or modifying the list of incompatible features.
[x] Modify the existing IMAGE extension to ensure compatibility with iOS Safari by removing or modifying the list of incompatible features.
[x] Test the newly created/modified extension on iOS devices, starting with photos.
[x] Make sure the IMAGE iOS client is functional for maps and charts.

The image extension functions properly on Safari for both MacOS and iOS platforms. However, two notable changes were observed from the original extension during testing:

Clicking "Save Changes" in the extension menu displays no confirmation dialogue.
There is no audio feedback while sending and receiving data, which was present in the original extension.

A deliberate change is that new tabs are opened instead of new windows to ensure proper functionality on iOS devices.
