Maybe it'll be better to ask for the command instead of "answer" as the user is no longer answering question.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, we believe with the current design, the product is not missing a critical functionality nor is it less useful. Any confusion is minimised as the message "The game is paused." additionally reminds the user that they are no longer answering questions.
