This has been requested a number of times but as I still don't have a subscription to debug on (PTR doesn't allow character copy without a sub so you start out at 90) I need some more details.
Does a cast macro with the bodyguard's name as the target work? I think it only accepts unit names so it might be a problem.
/cast [@name] Some spell
One way I've thought of that might work is to target the bodyguard and then execute a user-defined macro, I'm unsure if this works in the current code so it will need some testing.
I have a couple friends with subs who will probably be able to help me debug, I'll also update this issue when I've pushed relevant updates (home connection is currently down so it'll be a few days until I can get proper work done). So you could test it as well (will also be available on the alpha update channel on wowace/curse client).

Hey - is there any way to make the frame clickable (for fast heals etc) .
I use clique Haddon with grid, which allows for easy raid healing etc - this clickable also work on the default wow portrait frames ... but not on the one you created.
This would be an amazing feature for me :) without changing target I could bubble my bodyguard etc.
Thank you! Martin
