Would be great to have this features in RealChar: -intent, like "wake up" and "go to sleep" which makes the assistant keep running in the background, like a Google Assitent/Home -intent like "let's talk German" and/or" "let's talk to Elon" -(intent for) mute the speaker, so you can use chat without having/paying the voice (elevenlabs) -making gui customizable & a drop down of characters, so it's less "fancy" gui in a work envrionment

Thanks @stevenbaert for the issue. Just checked repo and video. Pretty COOL ideas. Will definitely add them in RealChar. Few quick thoughts

• intent. Yes, I am thinking about it. I worked on Google Assistant before, I just haven't found a good usecases for it yet.
• use intent to switch language is an interesting idea!
• As for work environment, what's your use case for RealChar? how would RealChar be more useful in a work environment?

@Shaunwei, thank you for the quick feedback. It's exciting to hear that you'll be implementing these ideas, and I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing that happen.

To elaborate on your questions, here's my perspective:

• Intents: most usable intent would be, Google Assistant alike, "Hey Google" then the question, or a "Wake Up"/"Go to sleep" to be able to talk without the need to have GUI open (maybe an intent for "stop responding" would be nice too). I envision intents functioning like plugins, tools, or functions. For example, using langchain, you could instruct your AI to perform specific actions akin to the Zapier ChatGPT plugin. This might include tasks such as sending a humorous birthday wish to a friend, querying your agenda for the upcoming week, or providing the latest AI updates on ChatGPT in bullet list format. Moreover, the AI could monitor your socials and give an overview of your interactions, akin to what's depicted in the movie "Her." In a broader context, Google is enhancing Google Home, but I envision a more personalized assistant, tailored to my preferences, interacting dynamically, and possessing insights into my documents, emails, calendar, socials, etc., as depicted in the movie "Her."

• Experience with talk-with-chatgpt3: Indeed, my experiences with talk-with-chatgpt3 were remarkable. It felt like having a personal assistant at my fingertips, capable of engaging in multiple languages and personas. Your project resonates with what I have been seeking for a long time and seems to encompass some of the features I enjoyed in talk-with-chatgpt3, f.e. talk with Musk about AI in Dutch, what's the idea of Sam about the input Musk just gave etc

• For Work: Extending these functionalities to my professional life, I'd like this personal assistant to support me at work and bring out the best version of me. It could assist in tasks like interpreting and drafting emails, organizing my schedule, and even providing mental coaching, much like the concepts portrayed in the movie "Her." Additional Note: On a more experimental note, I plan to create realistic AI avatars of myself and my partner. The goal is to enable my avatar AI to converse with my partner, an endeavor I anticipate will make for an entertaining experience. 🙂
