Open source? #499

So now I see a Rebyte account is needed in step 1 for configuring RealChar? How can you then still call this an open source project? I don't want to depend on Rebyte. Just want a fully open source chatbot, what I assumed this project was, from open source llm to voice in and out. If that's not the case anymore, I ll stop following this very promising project. Hoped to finally make it work on my MacBook M3 after seeing it's updated recently, but if it s not fully open source anymore, if you make it depend on your service, I'll be have to drop off.

ReByte is one option for LLM, not mandatory.

Other platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Anyscale are also supported. What makes ReByte different is its customizability such as internet search, knowledge retrieval, long term memory, etc., that provides characters with richer responses.
