I managed to fix the issue by simply using the "wget" command and using pycryptodome instead of pycrypto. It is by far not the best way to solve the issue, but at the moment it works fine for me.
As stated in the README.md file, you need to run following command to install smbmap: sudo pip3 install smbmap However i've been getting following error:

This issue likely presents itself because pycrypto is no longer maintained. Is there a solution for this issue? Or is it possible to migrate smbmap to pycryptodome?
