Problem with installing mod. #96

Starbound 1.3.1 seems to have done something quite strange. Due to the nature of it, I cannot currently play with Starbound with the mod enabled. Is there any problems with the characters causing this? If so, will there be an update somewhat soon, or can someone help me with what's going on? (If you have a question about what's happening, whenever I install the mod and try to play starbound, it crashes on the loading screen, even before the loading icon comes up. And yes, even when I delete all my characters [putting them in another file, same for workshop things] and remove all my workshop addons, it still likes to crash. Any ideas about what's going on?

I have been having the same issue ever since the update. I haven't been able to play with this mod at all and I wonder how others are able to run it...

the latest version of starbound 1.3 changed/removed a bunch of lua functions so many older scripts had to be retooled to work. because this mod is very script heavy there are probably more than a few malfunctions in areas that need rewriting

But I thought this version of the mod was suppose to work with the latest starbound client. Otherwise what's the point of this update being released when it is still not working? I understand it is a pre-release and that it may have bugs and many missing features, but I wouldn't expected it to not run at all.

The latest version of this mod was released before Starbound updated to 1.3.1. When Starbound updated, it changed a lot of internal scripts that this mod used to function, but because this mod was expecting the OLD scripts, things messed up.

This mod, as with most mods, are released when they are properly functional in the version of Starbound that is available at that time. If Starbound updates, it can break many, many mods.
