The user found that by copying the code instead of writing it down, they were able to enter it on the web page and verify their account.
I am not sure why the link didn't work; possibly in their email client, on their tablet, text is not automatically clickable?
I have changed the verification email text slightly to try to hint to users that they can copy the code, but apart from that I'm not sure there's anything I can do. I don't want to send html format emails.
