Do we really want to hide the fact that we've functionality beyond the scope of what the user may need?
A user could potentially switch from Safari to Chrome based on the fact that they saw our special Chrome Extension, rather than a vanilla bookmarklet. Ultimately the Chrome Extension has a higher value since it automatically initiates on every page load, right? Otherwise, the user has to remember to click the bookmarklet button every time they see a video on a page... it just seems better to let the greatest number of users know about the Extension. That being said, the Chrome Extension should always be visible on the Tools page, rather than conditionalized for Chrome only.
cc @reecepacheco @spinosa, thoughts?
good points @matyus . at any rate, this is P2, not P1
We detect browser within the tools pane and smartly show the Chrome Extension if in chrome, but we should do the same for the copy in the lefthand side of the preferences pane that says "Bookmarklet and Chrome Extension"
If no chrome, it should just reference the bookmarklet
