Users With DMs Restricted Can't Get Bits Messages and Have No Awareness for Registration #24

This is odd. I'm going to grant you roles manually for the time being and we can work on this on our side. You may have a privacy setting enabled that is preventing direct messages. The bot should have messaged you immediately when you joined. Maybe try going to privacy settings in the server drop-down and checking that you are allowing dms from server members.

I don't think the bot will be able to verify if the user has this setting but maybe we can put a small heads up somewhere to check that setting

I think it may throw an exception, but we wouldn't have a way to notify the user otherwise. I think the heads-up idea is good. Maybe we can create a jailed role that forces them to see a notice. Essentially keeps them there until they figure it out or something.
