Scan is a free & Open Source DevSecOps tool for performing static analysis based security testing of your applications and its dependencies. CI and Git friendly.
We currently use python 3.8 via RedHat's ubi repositories. Scan is tested and is found to be compatible with 3.9. Upgrade to 3.9 would happen once there is a supported version available via RedHat or from another source.
Since AppImage format is a bit less reliable (Thanks to glibc!) compared to the container version, we could release two different version - for 3.8 and 3.9
