Android Textfield constarint

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.In GUI builder specified the constraint on textfield as Numeric Password
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In the application the keypad for Android textfield should appear as numeric 
but what is displayed is normal keypad i.e alpha keypad.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Product is being developed for Android and I am using Ubuntu 12.04 and Netbeans 
as IDE

Please provide any additional information below.

Have you tested on the device or in the simulator?
The simulator doesn't support input constraints.

I have tested it on both device and emulator and it doesnt work on both
