Display.getInstance.vibrate() not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Phone does not vibrate when Display.getInstance().vibrate(100) is used.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1)The phone is supposed to vibrate. It does not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2)Motorola Atrix 2 (Android OS ..dunno the version)

Please provide any additional information below.

It works on j2me
