FNIS Sexy Moves animations bug on specific animation set #289

Hello ! Love your engine, works really great!

However I've found that when using FNIS Sexy Moves (With 360 Movement Behavior, CGO+, AGO,Proper spell direction, Animated Armoury and Ultimate combat) certain specific animations have issues on the player (female of course). (Maybe also on NPC?, but their movement are more smooth compared to a player using a keyboard, so should be less noticeable)

At least the Sexy Move 02 and 03 (BUT at least not 04 and 09) have issues (you can choose which one for the player in FNIS Sexy Moves MCM) : the animations are skipping frames when you run and slightly turn left or right (at least with a keyboard)

I have uploaded a video here : Youtube : bug You can clearly see that the right arm is not going smootly up and down, but skip some frames and snap up and down. (Well, both arms, and surely other things, but the right arm is where it's the more noticeable, especially because my character have a torch in the left hand..)

It doesn't happen with others animations, like the 04 (in the MCM). You can see here the expected behavior : Youtube : no bug (The right arm go up and down really smoothly, no snap)

(It can happen in vanilla/without sexy moves sometimes if you spam left and right, but I'm not talking about this thing)

Maybe it's caused by 360 Movement Behavior, I don't know I've also tried to tick the 360 moves in FNIS Sexy Moves MCM, but AFAIK, it's used by old 360 movement mod (that use a lot of animations, not like 360 movement behavior, that, well, uses behaviors files)

I've also noticed that when walking backward, the female character slide on the ground, but that's surely a bug with 360 Movement Behavior or CGO. Didn't test if it's there with male character. Not really noticeable anyway

PS : Nemesis engine won't create a dummy FNIS.esp plugin when I have Sexy Moves installed, so I've downloaded an empty esp, and renamed it FNIS.esp and used LOOT. No error message about FNIS when creating a character or going into FNIS Sexy Moves MCM Also I don't use any regular animation mod

Oh, I don't have the "360 Pack for the Female Player V7.2" from FNIS Sexy Moves mod page, maybe that's because of that ?

But I'm pretty sure on 360 Movement Behavior page DServant said that those kind of things aren't needed with his mod

PS : I could use the Sexy move 04, because it doesn't have any issue AFAIK, but sadly, I would like to use the 03, the 04 is too sexy for me :/

It would be pretty great if we could have a replacement of this old mod from Fore, something made for Nemesis..

I don't have the experience to do something like that sadly

Ok, so with the file "360 Pack for the Female Player V7.2" from FNIS Sexy Moves mod page installed (and the 360 moves checked in the MCM), the issue seem to be fixed, BUT, there are other bugs, like when I choose the most sexy move (09), the character have her arms really far behind, like her arms are broken. (Like the animation are exagerated)

The animation is way less exagerated when unchecking the "360 Moves" (and still using the n°09) in the MCM, so there's something wrong here

Also the less sexy animations looks off with this 360 moves checked, so it's doing something weird here... (Like the animation are less exagerated here? or just bugged?)

PS : Yeah I know there's a lot of other mods in the MCM, but I never had a crash after +100h of gameplay, yes, not the best indicator to say that the modding was done with care (and no unwanted conflict), but I don't think all thoses mods would cause that ... I can still try with a really small mod list if you think it can be related)

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Honestly speaking i have never even bothered to look into FNIS Sexy move. It was a surprised to me when I found out that it works under Nemesis' framework

As issue here involves more than 1 mod, I likely do not have the permission to change any of the content to fix the issue. Fore isn't around anymore to fix it, and i don't think dservant will fix it either

My bet is the issue lies at FNIS Sexy move 360's animation. Try replacing the animations for sexy move 09 in the 360 package with the original sexy move 09. This is my only

I thought that 360 movement behavior used the run forward animation for every direction and does not use all those added animation like that was done in the old days of skyrim modding ? (like in this mod : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34508/? ) All that thanks to editing the behavior files?

Anyway, I guess I will simply copy the animation that I prefer and install them as a regular animation mod, just gender specific. I won't have the ability to change it in-game, and won't be able to use the randomizer that is in FNIS Sexy Moves, but it will already be good

If I want to change an animation only for female character, I should replace a file in : "meshes\actors\character\animations\female" right ?

Do I need to check the patch "Gender specific animation" in Nemesis Behavior Engine for it to work ?

Gender specific animation only works for animations you have specifically place in the "female" folder
