I'm having this very same issue but with only 3,159 animations installed according to Nemesis. The counter bar is green in my case but the game CTDs on load despite this. Here is my patchlog.txt:

I also have Animation Crash Limit Fix installed alongside SSE Engine Fixes but the CTD on load persists. Please fix this.
it seems im dumb enough to haven't realized that v0.84 was SE and LE compatible, i was still using v0.83cSE, i upgraded to latest version and now it works, but still, as your log states, you're already using 0.84, so i don't think i found a solution for both of us, sorry.
I'm not sure if its's a bug or a feature, but my game can't even lunch when i have no more than 13k animation registered, when the limit should be 20k, infact the animation counter bar it's orange, not red. I am using nemesis with enginefixes (with AnimationLoadSignedCrash fix disabled becasue i am using it in conjuction with animations limit crash fix) but still i can't have more than 11k animations or so or my game wouldnt even launch. please let me know if it's normal or there's something that's not suppoused to happen.
