recent change has client make bad URLs #34

Change 49979a5f1445 introduces behavior that has the client make request like 
this:

POST //www.googleapis.com/upload/drive/v2/files?uploadType=multipart&alt=json 
HTTP/1.1
Host: www.googleapis.com
User-Agent: google-api-go-client/0.5
Content-Length: 23301
Authorization: Bearer redacted
Content-Type: multipart/related; 
boundary=c18fb9c5303d177b9679b4c9a81b68442af746f6d0655c75fa57d001d1b8

AFAIK, it's not valid to say "VERB //host/path".
