Two meta.lsx created when packaging mods; using symlink #358

Hello! I am using BG3 Symlink Mod Utility. When I package .pak with Multitool, two pop-ups appear after dropping the workspace into the blue box. It auto-creates two meta.lsx. One is in the correct folder with the info I put in. The second meta.lsx is in the GustavDev folder, and it ignores the input, making name and description = GustavDev. This second meta overwrites the correct one in BG3MM. Tested on 4 random mods from Nexus, same result. image

Manually deleting the second meta and repackaging the mod resolves the issue, but figured I'd report it anyway. Thank you for your awesome toolset!

It sounds like you just need the option to skip generation, right? I don't think this is related to symlinks, as they usually crash the application (I have an open bug for syminks).

I am not sure tbh, I am not super experienced, sorry!:) Another modder I connected with said she gets only one, correct, meta.lsx when simply dropping the workspace folder into the blue box. We are both on the latest releases, symlink is the only significant difference I found. When I manually remove the incorrect one, and repackage - Multitool is satisfied with the meta that folder already has, and doesn't recreate the extra one. Skipping generation would probably help yes, but then the pop-up will need to show the path to the meta it's creating in one given pop-up. Right now both are identical, so no way of telling whether it's the correct meta. Hope this makes sense!
