Shippable is clearly not being maintained - what is the JFrog migration plan? #5099

Hey Shippable Team,

Congratulations on the acquisition by JFrog last year. I hope that worked out for all of you! We have been using your tools since 2017 and are very happy customers.

However, it is becoming increasingly clear that there is minimal investment begin made in this platform. The activity in this repo is near zero. The last update you made to the base shippable build image (v7.2.4) is rapidly aging and forcing us to implement workarounds in the build scripts (a vanilla apt update fails on a repo with an unverifiable signature).

What is the plan? Should we be migrating to some other JFrog service?

Please let us know, before we are forced to move somewhere else, which we really don't want to do.

We debuted JFrog Pipelines recently and are working on a plan to help Shippable customers trial the new service and provide some time to migrate if they find it suitable. If you want to kickstart these conversations, please email me at manishas@jfrog.com and I can point you in the right direction.
