[question] Trident ASIC (ala Celestica D4040) #1

Hello,

This build script for Sonic has been archived by Celestica-Inc. I searched for more recent progress on it and came across your repo.

However, your README.md does not list Trident II ASIC as supported. Do you know if it will work on a Celestica D4040, or has Trident II ASIC been dropped? Does Trident ASIC perhaps go by a different name?

Thank you

Edit: I have since learned Trident II ASIC was manufactured by Broadcom, will re-consult the README.md

Hi,

This repo is used for Accton platforms, and not for Celestica’s. Maybe you can issue the question in https://github.com/sonic-net/sonic-buildimage.

Regards, Shone.

I was investigating D4040 as possibility for Sonic NOS, apparently it is not supported. My mistake. Thank you for your time.
