feature request:

It would be great to see support added for the Spatial data types (POINT, LINE, 
etc.) and indices 
(SPATIAL, RTREE) which were added in MySQL 5.

If sequel-pro could detect polygon, point etc fields and display the output of 
mysql's astext() or aswkt() functions that would make the data readable instead 
of just showing binary data like "

Hi,

in rev 2737 we added the spatial extension support for displaying and editing 
GEOMETRY fields via WKT strings. For testing you can use the latest nightly 
builds.
