  1. Leverage the section rendering API for search results
  2. Create the UI for the search box
  3. Create the UI for when no search results.
  4. Search is active when section setting is checked off.

What are all those new API you are referring to? As theme dev can we have access to a documentation to it? Shopify recently launched a bunch of stuff that were not really well thought and that could have been fixed before release if theme devs were put in the loop. I hope this can happen this time :)
