Why

Resuming work on ShopifyPython is not easy without a proper dev setup.

Would be nice to also have a way to easily setup a Python 2.7 dev environment as well.

That would be nice for Python 2.7 but i don't think dev is supporting multiple version of Python :-/

True, though we could offer Python 2.7 bootstrap and env switch scripts.
