What are you trying to accomplish with this PR?

After some discussion, we recognize that there are still some Shopify internal needs for Slate. This PR rewords the low maintenance status for what the community can expect from Shopify in terms of repository activity.

In order to make contribution faster, there will be a PR that will implement Shopify auto-deploy process so that any Shopify developer may publish to NPM upon merge to master.
