Slate is a toolkit for developing Shopify themes. It's designed to assist your workflow and speed up the process of developing, testing, and deploying themes.
Hi Thomas! I was wondering if you have a preferred/opinionated approach to using Git along side Slate Tools? Apologies in advance if this topic has already been brought up. I'm really looking for the opinionated approach from Shopify on this. The reason I ask is because I'm currently using Beanstalk and their deployment feature/integration with Shopify is nice (ability to roll changes back via deployments panel for instance). The more I use Slate, the more I'm realizing Beanstalk might be a little overkill though and looking for the ideal process to ensure I still have the ability to roll things back in case things get hairy.
