This project was updated to support @babel/core but it dropped support for bundling, which some projects might still be relying on. This caught us by surprise while working on https://github.com/Shopify/services-db/pull/6210

I've updated the README to provide details about the status of the fork and explicitly call out that this feature is no longer supported.
