Recording does not work consistently on iPhone 14 pro max iOS 17.1 #11

Pressing on the recording button does not always initiate the actual recording. The timer shows up but always shows zeroes.

I have to force quit the app several times for the recording to work. Seems random, and occurs in both landscape and portrait.

The same is happening for me on iPhone 13 Pro - The timer shows zeros and the App dumps a very short video (like .5 seconds) into the filesystem. For me it does not start to work, even if I restart the App over and over. Will try it on iPad tomorrow.
