Fixup some timeline stuff

• Move spinner to side of fieldset and eliminate bouncing
• Fix timeline-deep js loading when first request fails
• Allow frontmatter values to be falsey
• Deduplicate a bunch of the timeline code

This enables local development of the timeline-deep and stats-timeline pages and reduces some duplication.
